Political parties always possess the simulation; they are the only faithful law abiders. Leaders are always very keen in advising its fellow followers to constrain to the boundaries of law, at any cost. In fact what is happening? I speculate that an incident pointing this is worthy to be explained.
I saw a meeting of a political party in chennai(anandhapuram). There is nothing unusual in a party hosting a public meeting prior to the upcoming assembly election. In fact this is a public road ceded by government to public. There is no prorogation granted by judiciary to political parties that they can conduct meetings where ever they want. They are making the law a scarecrow, by blocking the roads from four sides joining the junction.
This is a visible violation of the people’s right to travel freely in the state, another example of encumbrance brought by politics to the public. The miscreants gathered, only in limited number is a real threat to the entire judicial system. In Kerala the recent Supreme Court verdict prohibits public meetings even in the pavements.
This is not the initial time, I am witnessing the road blocking by political parties in this same place, as it is near to my room. The parties even built big stage here to organizing certain meetings especially during election timings and in festive seasons.
The so called democratic parties have thrown away their democratic wings. They are now working as mobilizing agents of self profit, the failing light of democracy. The anti human activities of parties in the name of social service have to be lambasted.
The speaking leader in the meeting is endorsing him as a miscreant against the prevailing laws. He is not at all afraid of judiciary or the people in general; he is perturbing the people’s silent emotions. These types of attitudes by political parties should be seen as hazardous and also should be condemned; otherwise it may adversely affect the rights of people to live.
